About Me
I am the owner of a self catering accommodation establishment in beautiful Noordhoek, a coastal valley suburb of Cape Town, nestling between the slopes of the Table Mountain National Park and a spectacular 5 miles of white sand beach.I grew up in the south peninsula, where I now live, but have worked in Johannesburg, Botswana, and two very opposite Middle Eastern countries; accumulating a great love of the peoples, cuisines, cultures of this wonderful world which has been given to us in which to live. I have been fortunate to travel extensively both for business and pleasure. My wife is Malaysian Chinese so we have strong ties to another fascinating and wonderful country, which we visit often.
I am passionate about sharing our beautiful part of the African continent, and am involved in promoting local tourism; writing articles for several websites as well as blogs. My working background is in the field of logistics management. Although sort of retired, I am presently consulting to a utility company in Saudi Arabia on contract.
